Adhesives are usually a one or two part material. Adhesives come from different sources either natural or synthetic. Today, adhesives are extremely strong and are increasingly important in modern construction and industry. The types of materials that can be bonded using adhesives are virtually limitless, but they are especially useful for bonding thin materials.
Adhesives can be filled to many packaging types and various mixed ratios. The most common packaging types for adhesives are dual pouch clip systems, dual cartridges, syringes, and single components. The mixed ratios of 1:1, 2:1, 4:1, and 10:1 are generally used with these packaging types.
For moisture sensitive adhesives, we introduce and purge with nitrogen during our packaging process and before each packaging type is closed. This eliminates air and maintains the adhesive integrity until ready to be used.
We clean all of our machines with a general solvent to reduce contamination after each production run.
